Update 9 – Production sprint 2 – Week 2 & 3


[Programming] - Denis

I made some adjustments to the camera, and got it to adjust itself in the level. I also fixed some issues with the slide, and implemented the walljump animation in the game.


[Programming] - Niels

I fixed some small bugs, but im still working on one game-breaking one for now. And I am still making the menu HUD that shows a choice between play controls and restart.


[Art] - Bilguun

I made six different pieces of walls and a rim that were used to create the back wall. Used subtle differences without going overboard on the broken rocky feeling. The torch has been modelled and the VFX particle for it has also been made. It took a while since it's been some time since I last used cascade but previous projects helped me along the way. I also modelled and textured a door and window in the same runic style that we've been using. They have no practical use in the game but help breaking up the walls.



[Art] - Rocío

I have been working on placing some more props into the level, mainly trying to give it the feeling of ruins. For do this i created some new assets.


[ART] - Cristina

Remade particle effects for pickups.  It took a while to figure out a new look for them, something more interesting that would pop, so the player would see them more easily.  Also updated the blueprints for the pickups to show the particle effects in the level.

Put some thought into more effects for shooting, and absorbtion.
